The brief

5 Levels is a small game with a big difficulty curve. Make your way to the end of each level to unlock the next, avoid the edges, and don't bump into anything. There are only five levels because five is enough.

What we built

  • An Android game with five hand-built levels.
  • Level progression that unlocks as you finish.
  • Collision and edge rules that make the difficulty deliberate.
  • Distribution on the Google Play Store.

How it works

With only five levels, each one had to earn its place. The design is built around precision and restraint: simple rules, unforgiving execution, and a clear sense of progress when a level finally falls.

Outcome

A completed Android game and a study in making difficulty feel fair. It is no longer available.
